My Approach

The Collective prides itself on using one of the most effective and proven psychotherapy models available to clients today. It's my belief that most of our clients will benefit from CBT sessions.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is a psychotherapy that is based on the principle that the way we view a situation has less to do with the situation and more to do with our reaction to the situation itself.

A key factor in CBT is helping clients change their unhelpful thinking and behavior in an attempt to improve their everyday functioning.

Clients can expect to work on ways to solve their own problems as well as identifying unhelpful thought processes.

About Me

I'm Raysha. Most of my clients, young and old, call me Ray. I'm a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Arkansas and I absolutely LOVE what I do. Being invited into the healing journey of others is a privilege that I don't take lightly.

The Collective is the only agency in the state that is dedicated to the well being of parents that have children with disabilities and women veteran issues. As a parent of a special needs child and Army combat veteran, I recognized the need in our area for a therapist who understands these unique life situations. I am an advocate, educator, and empathetic listener.  My expertise has been published in Parents and other major publications.
